Jena gets SWINE.

Jena got swine flu last sunday night and went home. she spent one week at home and is now back here at school.
however, she is now subject to nickname's (Miss Piggy), chants&faces (oink oink *piggy face*), and, our personal favorite, rhymes (this little piggy went to the market, this little piggy came to our dorm and got Jena sick).
I used a whole can of Lysol spraying down our room. haha, thankfully Casey and I remained swine free.
Casey had her very first peep ever last week!
I told her not to get her hopes up, because they're gross.
She agreed.
For those that read the post about the Con Queso and our failure to read the refrigerate instructions: we're learning at college, we're learning :)

The Gaslight Anthem-9:30 club

My favorite band, The Gaslight Anthem, played at the 9:30 club in Washington DC and Zsombor and i got to go :) it was so much fun!
we took a bus from college park to the metro, and then the metro right to the 9:30 club!
Opening bands: The Measure, The Loved Ones, and Murder by Death.

The Measure -> The lead singer had a great voice! Very deep and coarse, which worked well for the music they played.

She is apart of the band, Murder by Death. Her name Sarah. She plays cello and piano. She is on point.

They sink a lot of drinking/sailor inspired songs. They're sound is very original for our contemporary society.
Plus, loved the chops :)
